The 36th competition has been won by Tibb & George Richardson. The runners up were Sue & Richard Powell.
The Consolation Plate was won Jane & Jane E Burgoyne with runners up Rita Roddick & Jo Ellam.
The 2009 - 2010 competition was won by Zita Chilman & Tricia Hern and the Consolation Plate by Liz Thorneycroft & Sue Thompson.
After Christmas we play a 6 week competition in which we play with a different partner each week.New competition rules will be introduced this year to make it more interesting for everyone.
In April each yearl we hold our annual Bridge Drive, to award trophies for the Round the Houses and the Consolation competitions and for the Change Partners tournament. The Bridge Drive is also a major contributor to our fund raising activities on behalf of our three charities.

We play the Ledgemoor Club in a teams tournament between Christmas and New Year. After 8 years the honours are now 4 wins to Lyonshall and 4 wins to Ledgemoor. To see results of our last match follow this link.

The Round the Houses knockout competition now in its 36th year is played from September through the winter with a winner emerging by the Spring
The competition is now complete and we have new champions. Trophies will be presented at the Bridge Drive on Tuesday 19 April.

We also play an inter club match against Ledgemoor Bridge Club after Christmas.
